The Elore Approach

We Prescribe Peels by Concern, Not Depth

Most clinics classify chemical peels as superficial, medium, or deep — and then select one. At Elore, we start from the other direction: what is your skin actually trying to resolve? The concern determines the acid family, and the acid determines the depth.

Salicylic acid for acne. Mandelic acid for pigmentation on darker skin. Glycolic for dull, rough texture. A calibrated blend for multi-concern presentations. This is how a chemical peel delivers a meaningful, lasting result rather than temporary brightness that fades within a week.

Our Peel Range

Four Acids, Four Concerns

Your skin concern determines which peel you receive — not the other way around.

Pigmentation & Melasma

Mandelic Acid Peel

South Asian Safe

Large molecular structure means slower, more controlled penetration — making mandelic acid the gold standard for treating melasma, brown patches, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation on South Asian skin. Delivers brightening without the PIH risk of stronger acids.

Best For

Uneven skin tone, melasma, brown patches, PIH from acne

Acne & Congestion

Salicylic Acid Peel

Pore Clearing

Oil-soluble and keratolytic — salicylic dissolves directly inside pores, clearing sebum plugs, blackheads, and congestion that water-based treatments cannot reach. Reduces active breakouts and normalises sebum production over a course of sessions.

Best For

Active acne, blackheads, oily skin, enlarged pores

Dullness & Fine Texture

Glycolic Acid Peel

Radiance

Smallest alpha-hydroxy acid molecule, deepest epidermal penetration — glycolic accelerates cell turnover, exfoliates the dead surface layer, and stimulates new collagen beneath. The result is immediate radiance with progressive improvement in skin smoothness and fine lines.

Best For

Dull skin, rough texture, fine lines, uneven surface

Multi-Concern Reset

Multi-Acid Blend

Customised

A calibrated combination of mandelic, lactic, and salicylic acids formulated for clients presenting with multiple concerns simultaneously — pigmentation alongside congestion, or texture alongside post-acne marks. Each blend is adjusted to your skin type and tolerance on the day.

Best For

Mixed concerns — acne + pigmentation, texture + tone

Why Elore

Key Benefits

Concern-specific formulation

We select the acid, concentration and pH based on what your skin actually needs — not a one-size-fits-all solution

Safe for South Asian skin

Our calibrated mandelic and lactic-based peels carry zero PIH risk for Fitzpatrick III-VI skin tones — the most common in Pakistan

Zero to minimal downtime

Superficial peels require no downtime at all — you can return to work the same day. Light flaking from medium peels resolves within 5 days

Visible from session one

Skin clarity and glow improve immediately post-peel as the dead surface layer is removed — with progressive results across a course

Long-term collagen stimulation

Beyond surface exfoliation, chemical peels trigger a controlled wound-healing response that builds new collagen and elastin over weeks

Pairs with other treatments

Chemical peels combine powerfully with microneedling and HydraFacial — we design multi-modal protocols for accelerated results

How It Works

The Treatment Process

01

Skin Analysis

We assess your Fitzpatrick skin type, active concerns, current skincare routine, and any prior peel history. This determines which acid family, concentration, and pH is appropriate — and whether pre-conditioning (e.g., retinol priming) is needed first.

02

Pre-Peel Preparation

The skin is double-cleansed and degreased with an acetone wipe to ensure uniform acid contact. Sensitive areas (corners of nose, lips, eyes) are protected with barrier cream. No anaesthetic is needed for superficial peels.

03

Controlled Application

The peel solution is applied in layers, beginning at the forehead and moving systematically across the face. We monitor for frosting, erythema, and client comfort throughout — neutralising at the precise endpoint for your skin type and chosen depth.

04

Neutralise & Calm

After neutralisation, a barrier-repair serum and SPF 50+ are applied. We review your immediate skin response with you and provide a detailed homecare plan. Follow-up sessions are typically spaced 3-4 weeks apart for a full course.

Timeline

What to Expect

Your post-peel experience depends on the acid selected and your skin type. Superficial peels have virtually no recovery. Medium peels produce visible flaking for a few days. Here is an honest overview.

Skin continues improving between sessions
During Treatment

Mild tingling or warmth — normal and expected. A cooling fan is used throughout for comfort. Session takes 30–45 minutes

Day 1–2

Mild redness and tightness as the skin responds. Superficial peel clients may notice no visible peeling at all — just improved clarity

Day 3–5

Medium peel clients experience light flaking — do not pick or peel manually. The skin is actively repairing beneath the surface

Week 2

Fresh skin layer revealed: brighter, more even-toned, smoother texture. Pigmentation begins to fade noticeably from session one

After Full Course (3–6 sessions)

Significant, lasting reduction in pigmentation, acne congestion, or texture depending on your peel type. Results continue improving between sessions

Post-Treatment

Aftercare & Recovery

  • 1
Apply SPF 50+ every morning without exception — your skin is significantly photosensitive for 7–10 days post-peel. Sun exposure during this period risks permanent pigmentation
  • 2
Do not use retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or any active ingredients for 7 days post-peel — use only gentle, fragrance-free products we recommend
  • 3
Do not pick, scratch, rub, or manually remove any flaking skin — let it shed naturally to avoid scarring and PIH
  • 4
Avoid heat-inducing activities — saunas, steam rooms, strenuous exercise, and very hot showers — for 48 hours post-treatment
  • 5
Keep skin hydrated with a barrier-supporting moisturiser. Avoid makeup for 24 hours, and choose mineral-based formulas when you do return to it
