BB Glow — also known as nano-needling facial treatment or semi-permanent foundation treatment — is a Korean-origin skin treatment where a skin-tinted serum packed with vitamins, peptides and brightening agents is infused into the top layer of skin using a nano-needle stamp device. Unlike foundation that sits on top of the skin, the BB serum is driven inside the skin cells — so the coverage and glow effect lasts much longer and looks completely natural.
The nano-needle device creates thousands of micro-channels in the very top layer of skin (the epidermis, 0.25–0.5 mm deep) — too shallow to draw blood, but deep enough to allow the serum to penetrate and stay. Step by Step — What Happens
Skin Analysis & Shade Matching
Your skin tone, type and concerns are assessed. The correct BB Glow serum shade is matched to your skin tone — from fair to medium to olive — so the result looks completely natural. For brightening or anti-ageing goals, the serum blend is customised accordingly.
Cleanse & Numbing
The skin is thoroughly cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied for 15–20 minutes. This makes the nano-needling process very comfortable — most patients feel a light vibration or mild tingling rather than discomfort.
Nano-Needling Serum Infusion
The BB Glow serum is applied to the skin and then stamped in using a nano-needle device. These ultra-tiny needles (0.25–0.5 mm) create micro-channels in the very top layer of skin that allow the serum — including the skin-tinted pigment — to penetrate and stay put. The full session takes 30–40 minutes.
Soothing Mask & SPF
A calming sheet mask is applied to close pores and soothe any redness. SPF 50 is applied. You will see a natural, dewy glow immediately. There is no downtime — you can go to your event or work directly after the session.
Session by Session Results
You will see results immediately after your first BB Glow session. Skin texture and tone continue to improve with each session as collagen builds up.

Skin feels slightly sensitive. Light flaking or micro-peeling may occur on day 2 as old skin cells shed. This is normal and is part of the skin renewal process. Keep the skin moisturised.
Skin settles and the BB glow effect becomes most visible — natural, even, dewy tone. Any initial flaking is gone. Skin looks fresh and healthy without makeup.
The BB tint slowly fades as the top skin cells naturally shed and renew. Skin tone remains slightly more even and brighter than before the session due to the serum nutrients.
Cumulative collagen stimulation from nano-needling becomes visible — pores appear tighter, skin texture smoother, and skin tone more consistently even. The glow lasts longer between sessions.
