Eyebrow Lift
in Islamabad
Non-surgical brow lift in Islamabad using Botox, PDO threads and dermal filler — open the eye area, correct drooping brows and look refreshed. No surgery, no downtime.
Opening the Eye, Without Surgery
An eyebrow lift — also called a brow lift, Botox brow lift, or chemical brow lift — is a non-surgical aesthetic treatment that raises the position of the eyebrow to correct drooping, open the eye area and give the upper face a more youthful, rested and alert appearance. Unlike surgical brow lifting (browpexy or forehead lift), non-surgical brow lift requires no cutting, no general anaesthesia and no recovery time.
The brow naturally descends with age as the skin loses elasticity and the forehead muscles weaken. Brows can also appear low due to genetics — many South Asian men and women have naturally heavy brow bones that make the eye area look tired even in their 20s. The descent is most noticeable at the tail of the brow (the outer third), which is why a strategic Botox or thread lift at this area has such a dramatic visible effect.
At Elore Aesthetics in Islamabad, we offer Botox brow lift, PDO thread brow lift, filler brow lift and plasma pen brow lift — or a combination of these — depending on your degree of brow descent, skin laxity and how long you want the results to last.
Four Ways to Lift the Brow
The right technique is chosen based on your degree of brow descent, skin quality and how long you want the results to last.
Botox Brow Lift
Most PopularSmall amounts of Botox (botulinum toxin) are injected into the muscles that pull the brow downward — mainly the orbicularis oculi (the muscle that surrounds the eye) and the corrugator. When these depressor muscles are relaxed, the frontalis muscle (which lifts the brow) wins — pulling the brow 2–5mm upward. The tail of the brow lifts most noticeably, opening the outer eye. Results last 3–4 months.
Mild drooping, outer brow descent, heavy upper eyelid appearance, lateral hooding
Thread Brow Lift
Longer LastingPDO (polydioxanone) or PLLA threads are inserted under the skin of the forehead using a fine cannula and used to physically lift and anchor the brow tissue upward. The threads gradually dissolve over 6–12 months while stimulating collagen — the lift lasts 12–18 months. Can lift the brow by 5–10mm.
Moderate brow descent, deeper hooding, those wanting longer-lasting lift than Botox
Filler Brow Lift
Volume + LiftHyaluronic acid filler is placed precisely above the brow — in the brow bone and tail of the brow — to create volume that pushes the brow skin upward. Also adds shape and definition to flat brows. Often combined with Botox for a complete brow lift result. Results last 12–18 months.
Flat brows, loss of brow fullness, want definition and lift together
Plasma / Fibroblast Brow Lift
Skin TighteningA plasma pen delivers micro-arcs of plasma energy to the skin above the brow, causing the skin to contract and tighten — lifting the brow passively as the skin shrinks. Also reduces excess hooding skin above the eyelid. More downtime than other methods (7–10 days of crusting) but results last 2–3 years.
Excess hooding skin, significant skin laxity above the brow, longer-term result seekers
Four Signs a Brow Lift Can Fix
Drooping or Heavy Brows
Brows that have dropped with age, genetics or muscle imbalance — making the upper face look heavy, tired or older than you are. A brow lift restores the brow to its natural youthful position, opening the eye area and lifting the whole upper face without surgery.
Upper Eyelid Hooding
Excess skin that folds over the upper eyelid, making eyes look smaller, tired and sometimes even obscuring vision. A correctly placed Botox or thread brow lift elevates the brow, pulling that excess skin upward and making the eye appear significantly larger and more open.
Asymmetric Brows
One brow sits lower than the other — common due to facial asymmetry, muscle imbalance or nerve difference. Botox brow lift can precisely balance asymmetric brows by relaxing only the stronger depressor muscle on the lower side, allowing it to rise to match the other.
Looking Tired or Sad When Rested
Downturned brow tails give a naturally sad or angry resting expression. Lifting the tail of the brow with Botox or threads changes the perceived emotion of the face at rest — looking more alert, approachable and refreshed without looking "done".
Step by Step — What Happens
Brow Analysis & Mapping
The ideal brow position is mapped using golden ratio measurements — assessing the start, arch peak and tail position relative to your eye and nose. The degree of descent is measured. Based on your anatomy, the most suitable technique (Botox, threads, filler or combination) is recommended.
Anaesthesia
For Botox brow lift — topical numbing cream for 15–20 minutes makes injections virtually painless. For thread brow lift — local anaesthetic injected into the entry points. For filler brow lift — topical numbing plus filler contains lidocaine for comfort. For plasma pen — topical numbing for 30–45 minutes.
The Procedure
Botox: 2–4 precise injection points per side, total 8–16 units. Takes 10 minutes. Thread: 1–2 entry points per side, threads are inserted and anchored. Takes 30–45 minutes. Filler: 0.3–0.5ml HA filler placed above the brow in 3–4 points. Takes 15 minutes. Plasma: micro-arcs applied above the brow in a grid pattern. Takes 30–45 minutes.
Review & Aftercare
Results are reviewed immediately (except Botox which takes 7–14 days to take full effect). Aftercare instructions are given — these vary by technique. You leave the clinic looking the same (Botox/filler) or with some initial swelling (threads/plasma). A follow-up is booked at 2 weeks.
When You See the Lift
Botox brow lift takes 7–14 days to show full effect. Thread and filler brow lift show results immediately with improvement over the first month.
Tiny injection marks fade within hours. No visible change yet — Botox takes time to work. Avoid rubbing the area, exercise and lying flat for 4 hours after injection.
The brow lift effect becomes visible as the depressor muscles relax. The tail of the brow lifts 2–4mm. The upper eyelid appears less heavy. The eye looks more open. Full effect at day 14.
Effect gradually wears off as Botox metabolises. Muscles regain their strength and brow returns to original position. Repeat session recommended at this point for maintenance.
Mild swelling, bruising and tension around the insertion points for 3–5 days. Visible lift immediately. Small entry points heal within 5–7 days. Avoid strenuous exercise and facial massage for 2 weeks.
Swelling fully resolves. The lifted position is maintained by threads and newly stimulated collagen. The result continues to improve as collagen builds around the thread structure over the first 2–3 months.
Threads fully dissolved but collagen scaffold maintains a significant portion of the lift. Result gradually softens after 18 months. Top-up session at this point can refresh and maintain the result indefinitely.
Good Candidates vs. Not Suitable
Good Candidate
- Your brows have dropped with age and look heavy or tired
- You have upper eyelid hooding making your eyes look smaller
- One brow sits lower than the other (brow asymmetry)
- You want a more open, youthful eye area without surgery
- You are 25+ (Botox) or 30+ (threads) for best results
- You are in good general health and not pregnant
- You are not on blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen) — stop 5 days before if possible
Not Ideal For
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Neuromuscular disorders (myasthenia gravis, ALS) — Botox contraindicated
- Allergy to botulinum toxin or hyaluronic acid
- Very thin skin or severely sun-damaged skin (threads may not hold well)
- Unrealistic expectations — brow lift moves the brow, not change its shape
- Active skin infection, cold sore or breakout in the treatment area
- Keloid history — small risk with thread entry points
